ESSENTIAL HEALTHCARE DATA
AT A GLANCE

As part of our commitment to helping you make informed decisions about your healthcare, we are delighted to share essential sets of data now available to the public:

Clinical Quality Measures

T
hese are indicators that reflect the effectiveness and safety of the medical care we provide. We meticulously track various aspects of patient outcomes and treatment success to ensure that our care meets the highest standards. These measures help us monitor and improve the quality of medical services you receive at our hospital.

1. Hand Hygiene Compliance

Hand hygiene compliance refers to how consistently our healthcare workers follow the essential practice of cleaning their hands during medical procedures and patient care. This simple yet crucial step helps prevent the spread of harmful germs and infections. By tracking hand hygiene practices, we can identify areas for improvement and implement the most effective strategies for training and education.

This ensures that you receive safer and more reliable healthcare, while also allowing us to evaluate the effectiveness of our hand hygiene initiatives by comparing them with the rates of healthcare-associated infections.

2. Compliance with Uninterrupted Skin-to-Skin Contact Between Mother and Baby After Birth

Skin-to-skin contact is a wonderful and essential bonding practice between mothers and their newborns. Right after birth, placing the baby on the mother’s chest, covered in a warm blanket, and keeping them together for at least 90 minutes offers numerous benefits. This precious time supports the baby’s transition to breastfeeding, helping the mother’s first milk, called colostrum, flow more easily. Colostrum is rich in nutrients that strengthen the baby’s immune system and provide early protection from illness.

Tracking the percentage of mothers who practice uninterrupted skin-to-skin contact allows us to see how many babies receive this vital head start in life. It's a beautiful way to give our little ones the healthiest and happiest beginning.

Efficiency Measures

Our hospital is committed to enhancing the efficiency of the healthcare services we provide. These measures reflect how effectively we manage resources, streamline processes, and reduce waiting times for appointments and treatments. By prioritizing efficiency, we strive to ensure that you receive the highest quality care in the most timely and effective way possible.

3. Percentage of Patients Arriving at the Emergency Department with Initial Assessment Conducted ≤ 15 minutes:

This important measure reflects how promptly our healthcare team assesses patients upon their arrival at the Emergency Department. The initial assessment, which includes processes like streaming, triage, rapid evaluation, and treatment, is crucial for determining the severity of a patient's condition and prioritizing their care. Ensuring that patients are assessed within 15 minutes of arrival is essential, as early decisions can greatly influence the effectiveness of their treatment. By addressing patient needs promptly, we manage potential risks and ensure high-quality care from the very beginning. This timely assessment underscores our commitment to your safety and well-being in emergency situations.

4. Waiting Time in the Outpatient Department

The Waiting Time in the Outpatient Department (OPD) measures the average time it takes for a patient to be seen by a physician during their visit. As the first point of contact for patients seeking medical care, the OPD plays a vital role in shaping their healthcare experience. We recognize the importance of minimizing waiting times and are committed to providing a streamlined and efficient process for our patients. By reducing waiting times, we aim to improve the overall patient experience, ensuring you receive the attention and care you need as quickly as possible. Our goal is to offer exceptional service from the moment you arrive, and we continually work to enhance the OPD experience for your comfort and satisfaction.

Service Excellence Measures

We take immense pride in delivering exceptional patient experiences. Our service excellence measures assess key areas such as patient satisfaction, communication, and overall care experience. Your feedback is important to us, and these metrics enable us to continuously improve the quality of care we provide, ensuring that we meet your needs and exceed your expectations.

5. Patient Satisfaction with Admission and Discharge Process

At WWRC, we deeply care about your experience, from admission to discharge. Ensuring a smooth and hassle-free journey is our priority. Our dedicated team strives to provide exceptional care at every stage, ensuring that your hospital experience is as comfortable and stress-free as possible.

6. Overall Patient Satisfaction in the Inpatient Department

Your satisfaction with your overall experience during your inpatient stay is important to us. We actively listen to feedback from our patients and their families to continuously improve the quality of care we provide. By measuring patient satisfaction, we can identify our strengths and areas for enhancement, ensuring that you receive the best possible care and support throughout your hospital journey. Your wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do.

7. Overall Patient Satisfaction in the Outpatient Department

We recognize that the outpatient experience is often a patient's first interaction with our healthcare services, shaping their overall journey and expectations. Your satisfaction matters most to us, and we value your feedback. By measuring patient satisfaction, we gain insights into how we can enhance our services and ensure a smooth, efficient, and positive experience.
